Answer: The actions of ignorant Muslims should not be attributed to Islam itself; one must look at what Islam actually endorses. Those who believe in God must accept that God possesses far greater wisdom than any human being.
Imagine you commit a murder and are sentenced to death or life imprisonment.
If you were to immediately alter the layout of your house, and a judge—seeing the renovated home—ruled, "Since he has changed his house, I am cancelling his punishment," we would say that judge has lost his mind. The entire world would laugh at him.
Those who believe in Vastu Shastra essentially attribute such a mindset to God.
The One God determines the good and bad that befall each individual. Once God has decreed a specific outcome for a person, do these believers think that by changing their house, its layout, or the clothes they wear, they can trick God into thinking they are a different person?
If this is the nature of their belief in God, they might as well be atheists.
If a criminal cannot escape punishment by pleading to a judge, "Sir, please don't punish me because I've changed my name or am wearing a lucky gemstone ring," how could one possibly escape the judgment of the All-Knowing God through such foolish antics?
The good things ordained for us work in the same way. Suppose someone sends you one lakh rupees while your house has two windows, and on that very day, you seal one of those windows according to Vastu principles. Would the sender return without handing over the money meant for you? Money is intended for the person, not the window.
If even an ordinary human being can grasp this clearly, how foolish it is to think that God would fail to understand it or be deceived!
In Tamil Nadu, 95 percent of buildings are constructed only after consulting all relevant *Shastras* (traditional treatises). If Vastu Shastra were truly valid, those 95 percent of people ought to be living without any problems. Yet, not even ten percent of them are truly at peace.
This fact alone stands as undeniable proof that Vastu Shastra is a sham.
The charlatans who call themselves "Vastu experts" are merely ordinary people like us. Who taught them that a specific building layout leads to a specific outcome? Did God Himself reveal this to them? Certainly not. They simply latched onto some random, nonsensical claims made by someone else because it provided them with a livelihood.
The moment a follower of Islam believes in such absurdities, they effectively step outside the fold of Islam. While they may still be counted as Muslims in the eyes of the world, in the sight of God, they become guilty of the offense of regarding God as ignorant. Muslims who are unaware of this truth should mend their ways, at least from this point forward.
