Languages are a means of expressing ideas, and there is no such thing as the language of God or the divine language. In the eyes of Islam, all languages are equal.

Many messengers were sent before the Prophets. This verse says that God gave them the scriptures in the language of their people. This is proof that Islam views all languages equally.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent as the last messenger. Since his mother tongue was Arabic, the Quran was revealed in Arabic. Since the Prophet Muhammad was a messenger to the whole world, the scripture revealed in Arabic became the scripture for the whole world.
Some people may wonder why the scripture of the whole world should be revealed in Arabic. The same question can be asked whether it was revealed in Tamil or any other language. It can only be revealed in some language. Since the language of the Prophet Muhammad was Arabic, it was revealed in Arabic.
We believe in the Holy Quran as the word of God. Since we believe in it as the word of Allah, we should recite it exactly as it is emphasized in the places where it is said to be recited. Reading this way should not be considered as an emphasis given to the Arabic language. It should be considered as an emphasis given to the word of Allah.
It can be seen that the Arabic language is not given importance from the fact that when it is emphasized to read the Quran, it is not allowed to read other words equivalent to it in Arabic.
In other occasions than in worship such as prayer, where it is emphasized to read the Quran, the Tamil translation of the Quran can be read. It should be read. Because the Quran has been given for understanding and thinking.
Will they not reflect on the Quran? And if it were from other than Allah, they would have found in it many differences.

Isn’t it better to recite in a language that one understands than in a language that one does not understand? Some may think so. This view is correct.
However, we have been saying many words in a language that one does not understand for a more important purpose. In a country where many languages are spoken, the national anthem has been created in one language.
Both those who do not know the language and those who know it sing it. The reason for this is that the unity of the country is important.
We accept this to show that all the people of the country are united for the unity of the country.
Islam is a religion common to the whole world. When the whole world worships in the same way, world unity is demonstrated. Forgetting all the differences of country, race, and language, world unity is established through this.
For the sake of world unity that occurs when one God is worshipped in the same way in a mosque – there is no harm in forgetting the disadvantage of not understanding the language for a while.
A person enjoys songs in an incomprehensible language without any goal. There is no harm in reading the Book of Allah as it was revealed for a greater goal.

We have no strength for it. And forgive us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our protector, so help us against the disbelieving people.
Although the Quran states that Allah’s Book should be recited in prayer as it was revealed, “Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity.”
The Quran (2:286) states that if one does not know Arabic and has no way of learning it, or if one tries to do so but is unable to, it is not obligatory for them to recite it in Arabic.
