Nevertheless, it too can often be the cause of difficulties, regret, and people’s strays. Islam highly places emphasis on the control of the tongues and requires Muslims to speak wisely, and not to argue excessively or ask frivolous questions.
In light of such issues, The noble Qur'anand Sunnah have numerous passages that teach Muslims not to enter into problems via frivolous questions or discussions with regard to.

The Qur’an is a reminder that the answer can often come as a disturbance for those who are asking frivolous questions and these should be avoided. “Do you wish to ask your Messenger Moses like his question heretofore?” “Do you wish to make the question your substitute instead of the answer”?
“The desire the questioning of your messenger is an attribute of disobedience, you were shown a direct commandment from Allah and were informed, but all you did was ask questions until we got the cow detail”! So then the Muslim is encouraged not to seek to use their tongue and arguments in place of submission. Warning of unnecessary questionings and disagreement: There are warnings from The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, those who came before you were destroyed because they questioned their prophets extensively and disagreed with them."
The reason and implication of such a hadith is that it indicates that any individual must no create unnecessary situations that will make him problematic or difficult in position.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also tells his companions to follow him to whatever extent he commands but avoid what he forbade him not. Guards against use of the tongue In addition to being an evil it can become in terms of how it is used; it can lead to people break ing relations, disunity, disputes, gossip, libel, assassination of personality , insulting people , lies and false accusations. The tongue has power of being an evil source and as an evil deed in that regards: And, "Who can be more wrong than those who invent a lie against Allah or deny His signs? Surely the wicked shall not be saved."
And (it is): 'Surely my words guide all right turn in-g.
"O you who have believed, save yourselves and your families from a fire [whose fuel] is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe, who do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded. "' (88) And [on] the Day [when] He will say, "Call upon My 'partners' [those you associated with Me] and entreat them to respond to you." And He will say, "Call upon them, and they will not respond to you; and We will place between them enmity [like fire].'
Therefore, the Muslim constantly advised to guarding of their tongue: “This religion of Islam is ease to approach.” The Messenger of Allah asked what did the narrator have in Islam to follow. The Prophet (pbuh) replied in what we already know, to believe in Allah and then be stable, he was told that there is more, he replied with pointing to the tongue.
The meaning this has is the statement means what that Faith requires it does not mean you dont express your self.
But that which one says must make sentido to oneself first and if not possible and the person does not believe it, to remain in a seat not speak, no speak too much. “Think before you speak”: Ofcourse in Islam the value to use our thoughts should come in before we talk, so as for one not to cause unnecessary pain to one’s self and people surrounding oneself.
Asking what: Is what I’m about to say true?
Is this necessary for me to say and not harmful to anyone without cause?
Is what I’m doing an interrogatory I intend to debate?
Does that have any potential of any discord?
Should I keep what I have to say a little longer before it’s too late to reverse my saying ? The tongue that cause ruin, People always remember this that the life and well beings of the entire life rests on how one communicates among one another, such as rumour and unnecessary discussions/debates have lead to division of lives.
Therefore the people of is rael incident with cow is a lesson to be remembered and how our Prophet Muhammad(P.B.U.H)warned us about what will destroy the people when they questioned everything . Therefore when people have a disagreement it is important for a muslim to not keep having discussions but rather to refrain from arguments . Guarding your tongues is simply not a habit but a practice one must practice through out one's lifetime of his.
