In the Islamic economic system, rulers are not permitted to fix the prices of goods or impose restrictions on transporting them from one location to another.
When prices rose during the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), his companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Should you not impose price controls?" The Prophet (PBUH) replied, "It is Allah who provides sustenance; He is the One who grants abundance or restricts it, and He is the One who controls prices." He further added, "I wish to meet my Lord without having committed any injustice against anyone regarding their life or property."

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) states that imposing unnecessary restrictions constitutes an injustice against merchants.
This Hadith clarifies the scope of authority vested in rulers. Under Islamic governance, there should be no ban on remitting money through channels such as undiyal (informal remittance systems)
An individual must be permitted to transfer the wealth they have earned abroad to their homeland through methods of their own choosing. This is the just approach, and it is how matters should be conducted under Islamic rule. If other systems of governance impose restrictions on this, one may strive to have such restrictions removed.
